Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Neurodiagnostic Technician to join our team at LifeBridge Health. As a Neurodiagnostic Technician, you will be responsible for preparing patients for and conducting various neurodiagnostic procedures, including Electroencephalograms, Evoked Potentials, and Transcranial Doppler exams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for and conduct neurodiagnostic procedures, including EEGs, Evoked Potentials, and Transcranial Doppler exams.
  • Collect patient information pertinent to the interpretation of the tests and determine proper procedures for testing.
  • Perform non-invasive neurovascular studies, including Transcranial Doppler examinations.
  • Attach standard and current inducing electrodes and record evoked potentials (computer averaged electrical responses) to visual, auditory, and somatosensory stimuli within the nervous system.
  • Provide supportive patient care and make detailed observations of clinical manifestations during seizures and other patient emergency situations.
Requirements
  • Formal working knowledge, equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college), requires knowledge of a specialized field.
  • Associate's degree in Electroneurodiagnostic Technology or equivalent.
  • American Heart Association CPR/BLS certification.
  • Eligible for certification by ABRET.
