We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Rhythm Specialist to join our team at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital. As a Monitor Tech, you will be responsible for providing continuous ECG monitoring and accurate interpretation of cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias.
Key Responsibilities- Assess EKG strips and interpret cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias, including measurement of P-R intervals, QRS widths, and ST segment deviations.
- Troubleshoot monitoring problems, identify probable causes, and seek solutions to correct the issue.
- Maintain inventories, supplies, hardware, and telemetry transmitters in working condition and report malfunctions promptly.
- High School diploma or GED is required.

- Knowledge of cardiac rhythms/basic EKG interpretation.
- Certification as a Certified Cardiac Monitor Telemetry Technician (CCMTT) or Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) is preferred.
- Successful completion of PHC telemetry monitoring competency assessment within 30 days of hire is required.
- One (1) year of experience as a monitor technician is preferred.
