Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, creating diagnostic images, and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic studies and therapeutic treatments.
  • Create high-quality diagnostic images according to established standards.
  • Provide basic patient care, process films, maintain equipment, transport patients, and prepare documentation.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures, demonstrating competence in invasive/interventional procedures.
  • Operate imaging equipment and technology to track and record radiation within the patient's body.
  • Follow radiation safety guidelines and document radiopharmaceutical safe receipt, administration, storage, usage, and disposal for regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

  • NMTCB certification or graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Certificate Program.
  • Associates of Applied Science degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • BLS (American Heart Assoc.) certification.
  • Fingerprint Clearance Card (for NAHMG Clinic-Based Staff).
