• Ensure that engagements are completed and prepared for Director or Partner review within the designated timeframe and budget, adhering to quality control standards.
• Establish effective working relationships with client personnel, facilitate collaboration meetings, and maintain professionalism throughout.
• Identify and propose enhancements to internal controls that may include operational improvements or efficiencies for clients.
• Proactively address client concerns and escalate issues as necessary.
• Stay updated on audit industry practices and ensure that best practices are consistently applied.
• Manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
• Utilize independent judgment to make decisions related to engagements.
• Mentor and develop Interns, Associates, and Senior Associates by providing guidance and training to foster their career success.
• Exhibit a positive attitude that is reflected in work and inspires others.

Qualifications for the Tax Associate:

• BA/BS Degree.
• CPA or EA designation is a plus.
• 3+ years of auditing experience in a public accounting environment.
• 1+ years of experience managing auditing engagements and teams.
