About the Position

Aureus Medical Group - Imaging is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment in the Philadelphia area.

Job Summary

This is a 13-week contract opportunity with a 40-hour workweek and 8-hour shifts. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a Cath Lab and Computed Tomography environment, with a strong background in CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support).

Responsibilities
  • Operate computed tomography equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Develop and implement imaging protocols to optimize patient outcomes and reduce radiation exposure
  • Provide exceptional patient care and education, ensuring a positive experience for all patients
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance departmental performance and patient satisfaction
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Computed Tomography Technologist
  • Experience working in a Cath Lab and Computed Tomography environment
  • Strong background in CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Ability to lift up to 50-100lbs and stand for long periods
