Quantum Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents, working closely with our nursing staff to ensure their physical and emotional needs are met.
Responsibilities- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, oral care, and incontinence care
- Provide assistance with ambulation, activities, and administering nourishment
- Participate in accident and incident investigations, and report any unusual conditions or incidents to the nurse
- Assist with serving meals, feeding residents, and meal documentation
- Maintain orderly resident rooms and ensure the call cord is within easy reach
- Make rounds on assigned residents at the beginning of each shift and at least every hour thereafter
- Care for clean and soiled linen, and assist with the orientation of new C.N.A.'s on the floor as necessary
- Attend all required in-service training
- General knowledge of the health care needs of geriatric residents
- General knowledge of Infection Control practices and Procedures, including Protective Equipment and Universal Precautions
- Ability to cooperate with personnel from all departments, remain level-headed during emergencies, and treat resident information as confidential materials
This is a full-time, part-time, or per diem position, with shifts available 7-3, 3-11, and all shifts available for per diem. The successful candidate will have the flexibility to work weekends and some holidays.
CompensationThe hourly rate for this position is $28.61.
