Responsibilities:- Prepare food and drink orders, serving beverages and meals to patrons as regulated by state and federal age requirements.
- Coordinate lounge/bar activities, ensuring a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor seating in the lounge/bar area, ensuring all guests are served in a timely manner.
- Compute bills and accept payment, tracking and balancing sales receipts.
- Limit problems and liability related to customers' excessive drinking by taking steps such as discontinuing alcohol service and notifying management.
- Clean bars, work areas, and tables, as well as glasses, utensils, and bar equipment.
- Maintain kitchen and lounge station, keeping the area tidy and clean, and restocking supplies as needed.
- Plan, organize, and control the operations of the lounge/bar area, ensuring efficient service and high-quality products.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including inventories, liquor ordering, and maintaining temp logs and waste logs.
- Three to six months related experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with State regulations).
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, developing alternative solutions and using reason.
- Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations, responding promptly to customer needs and requests for service and assistance.
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism, treating others with respect and consideration.
- Knowledge of and ability to appropriately interpret and follow policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of and ability to adhere to safety and security procedures, reporting potentially unsafe conditions and using equipment and materials properly.
- Ability to present and express ideas and information clearly and concisely, in a manner appropriate to the audience.
- Ability to meet the demands of the work schedule, being at work and on time, and occasionally working outside of regularly scheduled hours.
