Position Overview:
We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist - Contractor to join our team. The selected candidate will assess patients' speech and language capabilities, identifying both strengths and areas for improvement. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting evaluations and periodic reassessments of patients.
  • Developing and implementing rehabilitation plans for speech and language disorders.
  • Maintaining comprehensive records of patient progress and responses to treatment.
  • Providing guidance and support to healthcare team members and family members on strategies to assist patients in enhancing their communication abilities.

Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid license as a Speech Language Pathologist in the State of New York
- A master’s degree and a minimum of one year of supervised professional experience are required
- Supervisors must possess at least three years of clinical experience
- Membership in the American Speech and Hearing Association and certification by the association are preferred
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and independent judgment
