Job Description

Overview

Under the supervision of the Manager and Shift Manager, the role involves ensuring that guest corridors and employee areas are kept clean and visually appealing.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain assigned areas using designated cleaning agents and equipment in accordance with established Hard Rock Standards.
  • Conduct thorough cleaning, sanitizing, and upkeep of both guest and employee spaces.
  • Perform deep cleaning and carpet shampooing in all guest accommodations.
  • Adhere to safety protocols while servicing designated areas with the appropriate chemicals and equipment.
  • Execute additional tasks related to public area cleanliness as directed.
  • Utilize and maintain cleaning equipment for sweeping, carpet shampooing, and floor refinishing.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly stored and maintained.
  • Report any maintenance issues with equipment or property to the Supervisor.
  • Follow internal protocols for the check-in and check-out of equipment, radios, HotSOS devices, and master keys.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external guests.
  • Take ownership of the cleanliness of assigned areas.
  • Identify and respond promptly to spills or other urgent cleaning needs.
  • Utilize wet floor signage to ensure safety for guests and staff in wet areas.
  • Must be capable of frequently pushing or pulling loads of up to 100 lbs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Effective communication skills in English, particularly related to job responsibilities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • The work environment is dynamic, fast-paced, and often crowded and noisy. Exposure to casino-related environmental factors, including secondhand smoke and high noise levels, is expected.
