Job Title: Retail Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at HomeGoods in Pasadena, Maryland.

About the Role:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging and interacting with all customers, embodying customer experience principles and philosophy.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards.
  • Support and embody a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
  • Accurately ring customer purchases/returns and count change back to customer according to established operating procedures.
  • Promote credit and loyalty programs, maintain and uphold merchandising philosophy, and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
  • Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day, maintaining all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participating in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store.
  • Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback, adhering to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Support and participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs, participating in safety awareness and maintaining a safe environment.

Requirements:

  • Possess excellent customer service skills, able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
  • Possess strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail, capable of multi-tasking.
  • Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations, capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Works effectively with peers and supervisors, retail customer experience preferred.

Starting Pay Range: $15.00 to $15.50 per hour, actual starting pay determined by relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
