About the Role:
As a Laboratory Technologist at NYC Health + Hospitals, you will be part of a team that provides comprehensive, personalized care for all New Yorkers. You will work in a fast-paced environment, performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to help diagnose and treat patients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory procedures and examinations for patient diagnosis and treatment
- Work in a team environment to provide comprehensive, personalized care for patients
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely test results
- Maintain accurate records and reports of laboratory results
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements:
- Licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist, Cytotechnologist, or Histotechnologist in the State of New York
- 1-2 years of experience in a laboratory setting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to maintain accurate records and reports
