Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Professional Post-Acute Center. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care to residents, including answering call lights, ensuring privacy, and making residents comfortable.
• Assist with feeding, grooming, and bathing residents, as needed.
• Transport residents to and from meals, activities, and other destinations within the facility.
• Report any changes in a resident's condition to the Nurse Supervisor in a timely manner.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards when handling resident information.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of CNA training from an accredited school and valid CNA certificate number.
• Some experience preferred, but will provide training for the right candidate.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions

• May encounter frequent interruptions and be involved with residents, family, and government agencies.
• May be requested to work beyond scheduled hours and be subject to call-back during emergency conditions.
• May be exposed to odors, dust, disinfectants, and other hazardous materials.
