Job Overview:
The Financial Analyst will play a pivotal role in a high-profile global initiative aimed at integrating global real estate financial management into Corporate Finance. This transition will encompass the transfer of personnel and capital assets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support a global real estate initiative by conducting specialized research and projects to facilitate critical decision-making.
2. Assist in all facets of financial reporting and the development of financial forecasts, budgets, and restatements.
3. Contribute to the preparation of annual and monthly financial statements and other relevant reports and projects.
4. Aid in cross-functional allocations.
5. Possess knowledge of the month-end closing process, including assigned monthly duties to ensure timely closure and reporting.
6. Identify and create reports to establish and monitor key performance metrics.
Process Improvement:
Provide insights to enhance accounting systems and processes, striving for continuous improvement to achieve greater efficiency and accuracy. Establish cost centers for all transitioning locations.
Project Leadership:
Lead multi-country initiatives such as departmental spend reallocations, including long-range planning, tracking, and staffing planning, as well as capital asset readiness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business.
- Minimum of 5 years of robust FP&A experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Oracle and Essbase is mandatory.
- Ability to effectively lead and collaborate with teams and other functional areas across the organization is essential.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, be proactive, resourceful, and results-driven. Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with some exposure to project management, are highly desirable. Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills are critical, as is the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly intermediate to advanced Excel skills (e.g., index/match, pivot tables, multiple if statements), is required.
