Position: Automotive Maintenance Specialist

Objective: Become a vital member of our team as an automotive maintenance specialist responsible for the upkeep of Kimbel's fleet vehicles and trailers. This position is essential for maintaining the operational safety and performance of our transportation assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and resolve mechanical problems efficiently
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire servicing, and trailer repairs
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation for a fleet of over 70 vehicles
  • Schedule and coordinate repair appointments with external service providers
  • Manage vehicle drop-offs and pickups for maintenance services
  • Provide support for maintenance activities across various Kimbel locations as required

Qualifications:

  • Basic proficiency in computer applications for record management
  • Possession of essential mechanic tools
  • Strong mechanical skills with a preference for candidates with welding experience
  • Ability to operate trailers and a readiness to acquire new skills
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and external partners
  • Detail-oriented with a robust work ethic
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving history
  • Availability to work weekdays and occasional Saturdays from 6 AM to 5 PM
  • Capability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
