About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our Edge Services team, focusing on the control plane software that powers our Content Delivery Network (CDN). As a key member of this team, you will play a critical role in designing, engineering, and operating systems that ensure the reliability and scalability of our CDN.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software components for the CDN control plane, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize features, and drive the development of new capabilities.
  • Work closely with our operations team to ensure seamless deployment and maintenance of our CDN infrastructure.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and contribute to the growth and development of our team.
Requirements
  • Strong software development skills in languages such as Python, Go, and Java.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
  • Knowledge of HTTP, content routing, caching systems, and common Internet protocols.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in large-scale distributed systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in remote teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BS degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on large-scale systems.
