Career Opportunity: Licensed Practical Nurse

Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our care staff, you will play a vital role in promoting the physical, personal, and emotional well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for residents, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to provide direction and oversight to care staff, ensuring seamless care delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and community staff to ensure their needs are met and concerns are addressed.
  • Conduct pre-admission assessments, training, and education to staff, residents, and family members.
  • Meet all physical demands of the job, including lifting, moving, and assisting residents as needed.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing and current state license.
  • 1+ years of nursing experience preferred.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Dependable and able to meet schedule requirements with no restrictions.
  • Working knowledge of treating and assisting seniors with dementia.
