Job Title: Computed Tomography Technologist

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team for a 13-week assignment in Elsworth, ME.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Computed Tomography Technologist to work with our team. As a Computed Tomography Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining the procedure and positioning the patient correctly.
  • Monitor patients' responses to imaging procedures and report any adverse reactions to the radiologist or other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all relevant safety protocols and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
Requirements:
  • One to three years of experience as a Computed Tomography Technologist.
  • Current certification in computed tomography (CT) technology.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
