Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal advice on regulatory compliance matters and ensure compliance with corporate governance standards and best practices.
  • Oversee the drafting, review, and management of all contracts for our portfolio companies, ensuring they are compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain a centralized contract management system to track and manage all portfolio company contracts.
  • Monitor and interpret relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards affecting the fund management industry, and ensure the company's compliance with SEC, FINRA, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and assess potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar of Arizona.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a legal role, with a focus on portfolio management, preferably within the financial services or fund management industry.
  • Strong understanding of SEC and FINRA regulations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
