Job Summary

The University of Pennsylvania seeks a skilled Building Maintenance Supervisor to join its facilities team. This role will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of building operations, ensuring a clean, safe, and well-functioning environment for all visitors, students, faculty, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by collaborating with housekeeping, facilities, and security teams.
  • Assist with supervision and performance management of housekeeping staff.
  • Process maintenance work requests and respond to building occupant requests for assistance.
  • Set up and break down event furniture and move office/lab furniture as needed.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent degree and 3-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and teams.
