The Registered Nurse in the primary nurse role is responsible for utilizing the Nursing Process to provide nursing care for the patient throughout their life span. This includes:
- Assessing patient needs and developing individualized care plans
- Providing direct patient care and education
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A current license to practice nursing in the state of South Dakota
- A minimum of 1 year experience in a medical/surgical setting
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
