About the Position

This Residential Porter role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working independently and as part of a team to ensure the upkeep of our properties. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the quality of our living spaces and ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our residents.

Estimated Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Cleaning designated internal and external building areas, including common areas and vacant units
  • Completing daily, weekly, and monthly tasks according to property-specific task list
  • Performing and documenting routine inspection and maintenance activities
  • Notifying management of deficiencies or needs for repairs
  • Making adjustments and minor repairs
  • Stocking and maintaining supply rooms
  • FOLLOWING all health and safety regulations
  • Working with maintenance supervisor and/or outside vendors to fulfill work orders
  • Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • At least 1 year of prior experience in janitor work, preferably in an apartment or residential setting
  • Ability to work with and around people in a positive and cooperative manner
  • Knowledge of and demonstrated skills in handling cleaning and maintenance equipment
