Position Overview:

The role of a Windstream technician on the buried drop team involves the installation of underground copper, fiber, and coaxial cables, linking the network hub directly to the residences of our customers. Our team is dedicated to leveraging technology to enhance customer connectivity with cutting-edge products.

• Execute the installation of underground copper, fiber, and coaxial drop cables to establish connections from the network to customer homes.
• Utilize technical skills and a customer-centric approach to foster significant connections.
• Interpret technical schematics, complete necessary documentation, and promote Windstream's offerings.
• Provide training for new hires and operate equipment necessary for cable burial.

• Capability to walk extended distances, work additional hours, and lift substantial weights.
• Fundamental technology and mathematical skills, along with the ability to differentiate colors.
• Possession of a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the capacity to complete required training successfully.
