Responsibilities

This role involves serving as a Property Field Inspection Claims Adjuster, managing claims related to accidents and weather events for homeowners, commercial properties, and large losses. You will be the initial point of contact for our clients, clarifying coverage, assessing damages, and guiding them through the claims process while delivering exceptional service.

Where you'll work:

This position is primarily remote, with responsibilities extending to various zip codes. Candidates should ideally reside within the designated territory.

This is a remote-field role, allowing you to work from home while utilizing a mobile office/vehicle for in-person appointments.

Flexibility in work hours is essential, as operational needs may dictate changes. Successful candidates should be prepared to work varied shifts, including potential overtime and irregular hours.



Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Property Field Inspection Claims Adjuster in the insurance sector, specifically in property claims
  • Strong understanding of property insurance policies, coverage, and claims management practices
  • Demonstrated knowledge of both residential and commercial construction
  • Familiarity with local regulations and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with clients, agents, and stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage challenging conversations with a customer-focused approach
  • Capability to evaluate damages, estimate repair costs, and negotiate settlements
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical abilities
  • Proficient in claims management software and relevant tools

Physical Requirements:

  • Physical agility to perform tasks such as frequent lifting, carrying, and climbing ladders; ability to inspect roofs at various heights; ability to navigate tight spaces
  • A valid driver's license is required

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience managing complex or high-value claims
  • Background in construction
  • Experience with water mitigation inspections
  • Familiarity with Xactimate and XactContents software
