Maintenance Technician Job Description

LC Industries is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Conduct visual inspections of equipment and machinery to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment quickly, minimizing downtime and ensuring production continuity.
  • Install and repair electrical apparatus, including transformers and wiring, and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
  • Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
  • Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
  • Repair and maintain the physical structure of the establishment.
  • Install, program, and repair automated machinery and equipment, including robots and programmable controllers.
  • Operate machine tools, such as lathes, grinders, drills, and milling machines, to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs, fixtures, and tools.
  • Use cutting torches or welding equipment to join or cut metal parts.
  • Fabricate and repair counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma and two years of college or vocational education in maintenance.
  • Two years of general and preventative maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment quickly.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
