At Digestive Health, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and improving the quality of life for our community. We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Bellevue.

The ideal candidate will possess a Master of Science degree in Nursing, current Washington State licensure, and active involvement in professional organizations. They will be responsible for providing internal care, ordering diagnostic tests, collaborating with physicians, and promoting health education to patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and health education to patients to promote and maintain health within gastroenterology practice
  • Order selected diagnostic tests and procedures as indicated by the patient's condition
  • Collaborate with physicians in managing acute and long-term medical needs of patients
  • Provide monitoring and continuity of care between physician visits; maintain and review patient records, charts, and other pertinent information; triage patient telephone calls and provide medical advice and guidance
  • Contribute to the success of the organization by offering his/her services as necessary
  • Anticipate and respond to the needs of others; aid in a courteous, quick manner; treat others with care and respect maintaining privacy, confidentiality, and dignity, in accordance with current HIPAA guidelines

Qualifications:

    • Previous GI medical experience required
    • Master of Science degree in Nursing
    • Current Washington State Licensure as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
    • Active involvement with professional organizations (ANA, WSNA, AANP, SGNA)
    • Current AANP or ANCC certification or AAPA
    • Current CPR/BLS Certification
    • Physical Activities and Requirements:
    • Occasional travel may be required to other local locations on an as-needed basis to back-fill for vacations, etc.
    • Ability to stand and walk throughout the day, up to 10 hours per day
    • Prolonged periods of sitting and performing administrative duties including the use of computers
    • Ability to bend, twist, stoop, and reach
    • Able to lift and carry supplies and equipment as needed (up to 15 pounds)
