Position Overview:

Quincy Medical Group is in search of a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide exceptional care within our Oncology department in a float role.

As an LPN - Float in Oncology, your primary responsibilities will encompass delivering direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. Key duties include:

  • Conducting patient assessments and monitoring vital signs.
  • Administering medications as prescribed.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement thorough patient care plans.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Valid LPN license in Illinois along with basic life support (BLS) certification.
  • Preferred experience of 12 years in nursing, particularly in oncology or a related healthcare environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capacity to thrive in a dynamic setting and adjust to evolving priorities.
