Job Overview

Owensboro Racing & Gaming LLC is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and accountability for all purchasing-related activities.

The Procurement Manager will work closely with the Senior Director of Finance to ensure compliance with Corporate Purchasing policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring compliance with all Corporate Purchasing policies and procedures.
  • Training new employees on the use of the purchasing system and CDI Corporate policies.
  • Monitoring system functions and internal processes to identify efficiency improvements.
  • Reviewing and approving requisitions to ensure the best price and service.
  • Negotiating with vendors to procure goods and services for local needs.
  • Working with the Sr. Corporate Purchasing Manager on enterprise-wide projects.

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in purchasing, receiving, and inventory control, as well as a bachelor's degree in a related field. A valid Kentucky gaming/racing license is also required.
