The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and be comfortable reviewing financial statements. They will work closely with multiple department leads and 3rd parties, ensuring accurate reporting and data analysis.

About the Role

This position offers a 40-hour work week on average, along with unlimited PTO. You'll have the chance to partner with our Controller and other department leads to create accurate data and information for reporting purposes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing completed financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Preparing internal reports for leadership, including financial analyses and insights
  • Reporting and analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Preparing reconciliations and accruals to maintain accurate financial records
  • Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely payment and invoicing
  • Maintaining financial reports, records, and data in accordance with company policies
  • Partnering with department leads to create accurate data and information for reporting purposes
  • Ad hoc reporting as needed to support business decisions
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a strong focus on financial analysis and reporting
  • At least 1 year of general accounting experience, with a proven track record of reviewing financial statements and preparing reports
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel, to analyze and present financial data
