Job Summary:

The Pediatric Nurse II will use the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for children in our pediatric department. This includes considering the patient's physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs, as well as involving the interdisciplinary team in the plan of care and patient intervention.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care to children in our pediatric department
  • Use the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Consider the patient's physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs
  • Involve the interdisciplinary team in the plan of care and patient intervention
  • Use critical thinking skills in daily practice
Requirements:
  • California RN License
  • Successful mastery of nursing skills and knowledge related to a RN I position
  • CPR
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • PALS within 3 months of hire
Pay and Benefits:
