ResponsibilitiesYour primary responsibilities as a Hospitalist APRN will include:
- Assisting physicians in the care and teaching of patients in an in-patient setting
- Evaluating patients' status and health care procedures/techniques
- Monitoring quality of patient care
- Leading others towards objectives that contribute to the successful treatment of patients
We are seeking individuals who possess strong analytical skills, effective communication skills, and the ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion while performing duties.
QualificationsTo be considered for this role, you must have:
- A graduate degree in nursing or post-masters nurse practitioner certificate program
- Current license/registration to practice in the state of Florida, prescriptive privileges, or eligible to apply
- Certification from American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), or the Oncology Nurses Certification Corporation (ONCC)
- BLS certification
- Fluency in the English language with verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively to diverse populations
