Renal Registered Dietitian

LifeBridge Health is seeking a skilled Renal Registered Dietitian to join our team at Grace Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide essential nutrition services and education to dialysis patients and their caregivers in a clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess nutritional status and develop individualized Medical Nutrition Therapy plans for each patient.
  • Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients and caregivers, using evidence-based methods and materials.
  • Monitor nutritional status, laboratory values, and dialysis adequacy to determine appropriate nutrition interventions.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Document patient progress and nutrition-related information in the medical record, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field.
  • Registered Dietitian status with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  • State licensure in Maryland or the state where the facility is located.
  • Minimum of two years' professional experience in clinical nutrition as a Registered Dietitian.
  • Experience working in a dialysis setting is preferred.
