Position OverviewThe Nursing Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the nursing unit. This position involves managing staffing requirements, ensuring high standards of patient care, and fulfilling nursing responsibilities as necessary.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the daily nursing operations and ensure compliance with established care standards.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance on best practices and professional development.
- Evaluate patient care activities, including staffing needs based on patient census and acuity.
- Assist in the recruitment, training, and retention of nursing personnel.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and care quality.
