HSE Compliance Officer

Job Description
Amentum is seeking a highly skilled HSE Compliance Officer to join our team. This role involves ensuring compliance with HSE regulations, conducting audits, and developing strategies to improve safety performance. The successful candidate will have experience in HSE, with a focus on construction, environmental remediation, operations, and maintenance. They should also hold Technologist level HSE certifications (OHST, CHST).

About the Role
As an HSE Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for conducting worker exposure monitoring, documenting measurements, and providing summary reports as required for site programs. You will also interface and integrate with the SLDA Project Team, including the Site Manager, Project Manager, Site Safety and Health Officer, and Health and Safety Manager. You must be physically able to wear respiratory protection and chemical protective clothing while performing duties.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have at least 3 years of experience in HSE, with a focus on construction, environmental remediation, operations, and maintenance. You should also be able to influence and guide those over whom you do not have direct control. In addition, you must be able to pass security screening and hold USA citizenship.
