Job Summary:

The Client Care Specialist is responsible for guiding clients through their experience from arrival to departure, documenting medical notes, formulating treatment plans, coordinating with veterinary staff, and conducting follow-ups after visits.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
- Uphold the core values and mission of Advanced Animal Hospital Group.

- Prepare clients for their appointments by reaching out in advance to set expectations, answer questions, and request necessary actions.

- Greet clients warmly upon arrival and escort them to the examination area.

- Accurately document medical information provided by veterinarians during examinations and ensure that records are updated with diagnostic results as needed.

- Develop, present, and clarify treatment plans as directed by the veterinarian.
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians to ensure the veterinarian's treatment plans are executed effectively within the facility.
- Schedule follow-up appointments and future wellness checks.
- Ensure that all prescribed medications are fulfilled, providing explanations to clients and coordinating delivery if necessary.
- Clearly communicate discharge instructions and address any client questions.
- Manage client checkouts and process payments in the examination room.

- Conduct follow-up communications with clients to check on their pets' well-being and relay any diagnostic or test results.


Additional Responsibilities:
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- A strong commitment to delivering outstanding client service.
- A genuine passion for animals.
- Friendly and approachable demeanor focused on client satisfaction.
- Proficient in active listening and accurate documentation of medical information.
- A desire to assist and serve others.
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn veterinary medical terminology and procedures.

Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma.

Preferred Education and Experience:
- Knowledge of medical terminology.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work on a computer.
- Capability to bend and lift up to 40 lbs without assistance.
