Job Overview

We are seeking a Meat Clerk to join our team at El Super #21 in Paramount, California. The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and assist customers with special orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide friendly and courteous customer service
  • Maintain clean and organized store shelves and display cases
  • Assist customers with special orders and work with the Meat Cutter to determine which items need to be cut
  • Lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stand, and stoop for prolonged periods
Requirements
  • Basic PC/Outlook skills
  • Retail Management Certificate (desired)
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
