Job DescriptionWe are seeking a seasoned Commercial Sales Director to lead our Contract Division. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales leadership and be able to develop and execute strategies to drive sales growth and revenue maximization.
Sales Growth and Revenue MaximizationThe Commercial Sales Director will be responsible for achieving national sales targets by developing and executing sales strategies. This includes monitoring regional sales performance, identifying areas for improvement, and collaborating with regional managers to expand market share and penetrate new markets.
The successful candidate will also analyze market segments to complete plans to expand PJ contracts reach outside of hospitality, review rep pipeline to accurately forecast sales, and collaborate with product development and marketing teams to align offerings with market needs.
Leadership and Team ManagementThe Commercial Sales Director will lead a team of sales representatives and managers, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to ensure their success. This includes establishing development plans for every member of the Contract Sales Division, being a resource for learning and developmental needs within the division, and acting as a coach and mentor to direct reports.
The successful candidate will also partner with external Contract Sales networks, professional organizations, and industry experts to build relationships, share insights, and stay at the forefront of Contract Sales thought leadership.
Requirements- 10+ years of Sales Management experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field
- Extensive experience in progressive senior Sales leadership roles, including experience as a Director of Contract Sales or equivalent
- Demonstrated effectiveness in driving sales initiatives
- In-depth knowledge of Contract Sales best practices
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen with the ability to align Contract Sales strategies with business and organizational objectives
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build relationships, effectively articulate Contract Sales strategies and initiatives, and influence key stakeholders at all levels
