We are seeking a highly skilled Vehicular Engineer to join our team at Mel's Auto Repair in San Marcos, CA. As a trusted classic car repair center with a strong loyal customer base, we need someone who can deliver exceptional results and provide top-notch customer service.

The ideal candidate will have experience working on complex mechanical and electrical systems, as well as knowledge of classic automobiles. They should also possess excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Compensation is based on capabilities and experience, with a competitive rate of $35-$45 per hour.

Salary: $35-$45 per hour

Benefits: Health benefits (medical, dental, and vision) are offered after a 90-day probationary period. Our shop is located in a high-traffic area of San Marcos, making it an ideal location for those who value convenience and accessibility.

About the Job:

  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical system malfunctions
  • Perform routine maintenance, including fluid changing, greasing of components, engine tune-up, tire rotations, replacement of filters
  • Ensure the reliability of vehicle braking systems

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience working on complex mechanical and electrical systems
  • Knowledge of classic automobiles
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
