Job Summary
As a Transportation Operations Specialist with SSA Marine, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe handling and delivery of cargo. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with operations and office staff to ensure efficient completion of work plans.

About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a CDL Operator and possess current CDL, Medical Card, and DVR certifications. A strong understanding of safety and accident prevention codes and regulations is also essential. The ability to analyze and troubleshoot operations, communicate effectively with co-workers and customers, and work in a fast-paced environment are all required for success in this role.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work closely with operations and office staff to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective completion of work plans.
  • Inspect equipment prior to use and communicate any maintenance or repair needs to ensure serviceability and safety.
  • Review load paperwork versus cargo received or loaded to ensure accuracy.
  • Report problems and issues to appropriate managers.
  • Maintain accurate records and distribute them in a timely manner.

Requirements
  • CDL (Commercial Driver's License) certification.
  • Medical Card and DVR certifications.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a CDL Operator.
  • Strong understanding of safety and accident prevention codes and regulations.
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot operations.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Estimated Salary:$65,000 - $85,000 per year
