We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our team at MEDSTAR GEORGETOWN UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL|GUH|40112. This is a 12-hour night shift position with a 13-week contract, offering 36 guaranteed weekly hours.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department, utilizing expertise in emergency nursing to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, prioritizing patient needs and safety.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in emergency nursing.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication among colleagues.
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and maintain a high level of energy and focus during long shifts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to adjust to changing priorities and situations.
- RTO (Relocation Travel Opportunity) during a contract will not be approved for greater than 8 days, and must be scheduled to ensure the traveler can still work their full 36 hours/week.
- RTO in between the ending of one contract and the beginning of another will not be approved for greater than 7 days.
