FinishResponsibilities:
Report directly to the Lead Technician.
$1.50/hr night shift differential
12-hour shifts (6:30 PM to 7:00 AM): 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 on, 3 days off
Eligible for profit-sharing bonuses
Collaborate as a team member to achieve plant and departmental objectives
Maintain all plant equipment and facilities, ensuring production, quality, waste management, cleanliness, and safety standards are met during the shift
Conduct preventive maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of molding machines and equipment
Modify, repair, and rebuild plant machinery and equipment
Utilize mechanical skills, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting, and repair
Visually inspect and diagnose malfunctioning machines and equipment
Measure components to identify wear, misalignment, or operational issues
Document repairs and maintenance activities for manufacturing equipment
Perform other related duties as assigned
Potential duties may also include:
Fabrication and installation of related trades; performing building maintenance; and general facility repairs
Install new equipment or relocate existing equipment
Understand the functionality of relays, motor contactors, motor starters, solid-state relays, soft starters, and variable frequency drives.
Familiarity with operation and troubleshooting of PLC programming
Ability to read, interpret, and troubleshoot using schematic diagrams
Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform necessary maintenance and service
Experience in electrical distribution and machine controls ranging from 24 to 480 volts AC/DC
Conduct all activities safely, including adhering to LOTO procedures as required by company policy.
Perform safety inspections of equipment prior to use.
Ensure the safe operation of all equipment before returning it to manufacturing.
Document new or altered equipment safety checks or other change control documentation as requiredUphold safety and quality standards.
Work in compliance with ISO standards.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Ability to perform physical tasks including sitting, bending, twisting, standing, and lifting.
Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Capable of lifting up to 35 lbs.
Comply with all safety requirements, including the use of
PPE:
PPE includes but is not limited to Bump Cap or Hard Hat, Safety Eyewear or Prescription Safety Eyewear, Safety Shoes, Hearing Protection, and Disposable Mask.
Maintain an attendance record in accordance with company guidelines and be available for required overtime.High School Graduate or equivalent with 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, technical school, or an Associate's degree from an accredited technical institute preferred.
Must have 1-4 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment or equivalentPossess strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills
Proficient in Office 360, JDE, Coast
Must pass a drug screening.
Work in a safe manner
