ProMedica Toledo Hospital is a leading acute-care facility in the region, staffed by over 4,800 professional healthcare employees serving a 27-county area in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan.
We have the area's largest board-certified medical staff, comprising over 1,000 primary care and specialty physicians.
As a Nurse Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervisory and management functions of the nursing department, and in the absence of other administrative persons, for overall hospital functions.
The Registered Nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the nursing care provided to a group of patients, leading the nursing team members in the care as directed by the attending physician and in collaboration with other health care providers.
Actively participate in creating an environment that fosters patient, family, physician, and employee satisfaction, ensuring decisions made are based on patient and family-centered care philosophy utilizing evidenced-based practices, and focused on safety, customer satisfaction, and quality outcomes.
The Registered Nurse provides nursing care to individuals and groups requiring specialized knowledge, judgment, and skill derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social, spiritual/cultural, and nursing sciences.
Scope of Service:
The Registered Nurse functions within the full scope of nursing practice as noted by the Board of Nursing of their designated state for which they are practicing in addition to compliance with any of the hospitals accrediting bodies.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or be currently enrolled and pursuing
Licensed to practice professional nursing in the State of Ohio
Three to Five years clinical nursing experience
Sound decision-making skills
CPR required
ACLS preferred
