Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic - Kitchen Equipment Specialist to join our team at Monarch Casino Resort & Spa Black Hawk. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment in our kitchen and refrigeration facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment, including wire and cable systems, conduit systems, and control panels.
  • Use electrical industry-related hand tools and power tools to perform tasks.
  • Measure, cut, bend, thread, and install wire and electrical cable systems.
  • Troubleshoot equipment electrical systems and control circuits.
  • Build control panels from drawings and specifications.
  • Prepare sketches and schematic diagrams showing the location of wiring and electrical systems.
  • Delegate tasks and assist with training other team members.
  • Communicate effectively with foremen and crew members.
  • Maintain workflow schedules to ensure all productivity objectives are met.
  • Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and courtesy when interacting with colleagues, customers, and vendors.
Requirements
  • Current Colorado Journeymen's or master's license in good standing.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and able to obtain and maintain a Colorado Support Gaming License.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds from the ground and pull 50 pounds of force.
  • Ability to perform ladder climbing, wire pulling, and conduit pulling.
  • Ability to fully squat, stoop, or kneel while wearing a 25-pound tool belt.
  • Ability to maintain a standing position for long periods of time while performing repetitive actions.
