Job Overview

This role plays an integral part in our People First culture, Operational Excellence and Insights that Drive Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will work independently to prepare food, package, display, and stock meat products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and produce meat products according to production planner specifications.
  • Packages and labels meat products per program plan.
  • Maintain attractive and well-stocked meat department displays.
  • Stock backroom with meat products, rotating and dating cases/buckets.
  • Notify the Meat Manager if products and supplies need to be ordered.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stores to achieve growth in SpartanNash Retail stores.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma (GED) preferred.
  • One year of retail or related experience preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
