Job Title: Adjunct Professor of Geographic Information Systems

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Professor of Geographic Information Systems to join our faculty at College of the Canyons. As an Adjunct Professor, you will be responsible for teaching courses in Geographic Information Systems and contributing to the development of our academic programs.

Responsibilities:

• Teach courses in Geographic Information Systems, including introductory and advanced courses
• Develop and implement curriculum for Geographic Information Systems courses
• Assess student learning and provide feedback
• Participate in departmental and college-wide committees and activities
• Stay current with developments in Geographic Information Systems and incorporate best practices into teaching and research

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Geography or a related field
• Experience teaching Geographic Information Systems courses
• Strong knowledge of Geographic Information Systems software and technologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Geography or a related field
• Experience with Geographic Information Systems research and development
• Strong background in Geographic Information Systems education and training
