About the Role

This full-time position offers a unique chance to work in various clinical settings, including Convenient Care, Cardiology, and Orthopedics. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will utilize your exceptional nursing skills and expertise to provide high-quality patient care, educate patients and families, and contribute to the improvement of healthcare outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide competent healthcare services to patients and families in area of practice
  • Ensure adherence to established standards of care and scope of practice
  • Document care accurately and completely
  • Deliver health and wellness education to individuals and groups
  • Serve as preceptor and support staff and student development
  • Lead initiatives to improve quality of care or clinical outcomes
Requirements
  • College diploma in nursing required; bachelor's degree preferred
  • Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license in Illinois upon hire; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days
  • Demonstrate leadership and organizational skills with effective communication and collaboration abilities
