- Maintain accurate documentation and effective communication regarding patient care.
- Engage in patient education to promote health and wellness.
- Coordinate unit operations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Utilize computer systems for operational tasks and record-keeping.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least two years of experience as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
- Current California LVN license.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from a recognized provider.
- Valid certification in Intravenous (IV) Therapy and Blood Withdrawal.
- Graduation from an accredited vocational nursing program or equivalent military training.
- Proficient knowledge of medications, medical terminology, and patient care protocols.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and colleagues.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficient in using computer applications relevant to the role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Background in pediatric nursing is advantageous.
