We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Kennel Assistant to join our team at Heartland Veterinary Partners. As a Kennel Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being during their stay with us.

• Provide top-notch care to patients visiting our practice for grooming and/or boarding, including walking, feeding, and administering medication as needed.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment by cleaning cages, runs, and ward areas, washing laundry, and maintaining a high standard of hygiene.
• Collaborate with our team to provide exceptional client care, including communicating with clients and teammates to ensure successful client outcomes.
• Monitor patient health and report any concerns to our veterinary team, ensuring the highest level of care for our patients.
• Perform administrative tasks such as recording patient information, handling personal property, and maintaining accurate records.

• Previous veterinary experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work on weekends and flexible scheduling.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, teammates, and veterinarians.
• Physical ability to lift patients up to 25 pounds and assist with lifting heavier patients as needed.
