Cardiac Vascular Sonographer Reg

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Vascular Sonographer Reg to join our team at Wellstar Health System, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in echocardiography and vascular sonography, with the ability to perform a wide range of technical procedures.

• Perform echocardiograms, treadmill, bicycle, or stress echoes according to physician orders and established practice and procedures
• Confer with physicians to establish requirements for non-standard examinations and determine technical factors to satisfy requirements
• Perform pre-procedure verification process, according to hospital policy
• Ensure that equipment is fully operational prior to each use, by checking for proper calibration and operating deficiencies
• Send all studies to PACS immediately after completion, print CDs as needed

• Basic Life Support certification
• ARRT Vascular Sonography certification
• Reg Vascular Specialist certification
• Reg Vascular Technologist certification
• Reg Cardiac Sonographer - CCI certification
• Reg Diag Cardiac Sonographer certification
• Reg Diag Card Sono Adult Echo certification

• Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program
• Minimum 1 year experience in echocardiography or vascular sonography

The Cardiac Vascular Sonographer Reg will work in a fast-paced environment, performing a variety of technical procedures. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and customer service skills.
