Job Summary

As a Dietary Aide at The Village at Germantown, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents and guests. Under the supervision of the Director of Nutrition Services, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages to residents and guests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the dining rooms, kitchen, and storage areas.
  • Ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality by following proper food handling and preparation procedures.
  • Assist with food inventory, ordering, and storage to ensure adequate supplies.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, guests, and colleagues, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Participate in training and educational activities to enhance your skills and knowledge in food service and nutrition.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal directions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and supplies as needed.
