Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team at Nova Medical Centers. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a critical role in executing general accounting processes and performing operational tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine accounting activities, including reconciling transactions, preparing reports, and maintaining digital records.
  • Assist in the accounts payable process, processing invoices and remitting payments as necessary.
  • Audit and maintain vendor records in preparation for 1099 transactions.
  • Process patient refunds and send them out as directed.
  • Document and maintain return check payment processes.
  • Assist with monthly cash transaction posting.
Requirements
  • Associates degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of AP experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Intacct software preferred, experience with Concur, AP Smart, and Surgicare a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel & Word).
  • Basic understanding of bookkeeping and principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail with excellent follow-up skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must work on-site at Nova's corporate office.
